These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of M4AtoMP3.org (the “Site”), operated by M4AtoMP3.org. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The service
The Site provides free tools that convert audio and video files between formats. Conversions are performed locally in your web browser; files are not uploaded to us. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:
- convert content you do not own or have permission to use, where doing so infringes copyright or other rights;
- attempt to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or other technical protection measures;
- interfere with the Site’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use automated means to overload it;
- click advertisements artificially or encourage others to do so.
3. Your content and responsibility
You retain all rights to your files. Because processing happens on your device, you are responsible for the files you convert and for keeping backups of your originals. We recommend checking converted files before deleting the source.
4. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, text, graphics and code (excluding third-party open-source components, which are governed by their own licences) are owned by M4AtoMP3.org and protected by intellectual property laws. You may link to any page of the Site. You may not copy substantial parts of the Site’s content without permission.
5. Third-party services and advertising
The Site may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and may load open-source software from public content delivery networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or websites linked from the Site. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them. 6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every file will convert successfully, that output will meet your requirements, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, M4AtoMP3.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Because the Site is free, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed USD 10.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M4AtoMP3.org from claims arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms or of any third party’s rights.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence still apply where relevant.
10. Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
